"I was dreading trying to find an outfit for my daughter’s wedding. Way back in January we went to a wedding fair in Peterborough and there were these two lovely ladies who assured me they could find the perfect outfit for me. Then, Covid appeared in our lives.

The wedding was supposed to be in November but the venue advised postponing until next year. But, we felt we should support local businesses so on Saturday we went to Cream Rose for my appointment.

Walked in feeling a total wreck, came out feeling great. Such lovely, lovely ladies, made me feel at ease and came away with a decision to make,I had found not just one outfit but two! Today I called them having made my decision and am so relieved. A great experience!"

"Yesterday my mum and I visited Cream Rose for her Mother of the Bride appointment, for my wedding (currently!) in June. My mum was very nervous for the appointment as over the last year or so she has lost a significant amount of weight, and has since struggled with her body image.

We had the wonderful Ruth and Luanne helping us and they proceeded to spend the next hour helping and advising my mum to pick the perfect MOB outfit. Due to the uncertain situation we are all finding ourselves in, although my wedding is currently in June we are unsure whether we will need to postpone the wedding to later in the year or possibly even next year, so getting something that was versatile enough for mum to wear whatever the weather was essential.

We went in with my mum walking small and being openly anxious, but when she had found the perfect look she came out glowing. Ruth and Luanne were amazing with their sound advice and uplifting comments, making her feel amazing and she even left saying that she FELT amazing which is a really big achievement.

I can't thank the girls enough for making an experience to be painful and long, so warm and welcoming, and especially easy. I would recommend Cream Rose to everyone, and we can't say enough good things about them."

"Thank you for your help in finding a wonderful 'Mother of the Groom' outfit. After a less than happy experience at another shop, you were a breath of fresh air. You were not pushy but instead very helpful, patient, flexible, efficient and above all lovely.

In addition, the milliner (Helen) did an amazing job in matching the colours of my outfit and the style I wanted at a very reasonable price and superb quality. In fact it was much cheaper than one I had previously purchased at another wedding shop.

Lastly the resident seamstress (Esme) was fabulous. She adjusted 2 dresses and a long jacket and the quality of her work was incredible and once again very reasonable.

I'd highly recommend Cream Rose if you want a wonderful experience in shopping for something for such an exciting and important day!"

My daughter Carys needed a dress for her Prom and Cream Rose didn't disappoint. She was treated to an experience that she will remember as much as the Prom itself and we left there with a dress that was absolutely perfect!
